Meet Our New Director, Anna-Jane!Anna-Jane Tabler is a seasoned strategist in program design, fundraising, and community-driven development, bringing a deep commitment to building equitable/inclusive public spaces.
She most recently served as Director of Foundation & Corporate Giving at the nationally acclaimed 11th Street Bridge Park in Washington, DC, recognized as a leading model for equitable development around new urban infrastructure. There, Anna-Jane led efforts that raised over $102 million in equitable development investments and an additional $92 million for the park’s construction. She also supported the development of a community preservation plan, which includes initiatives like a national workforce development program, arts & culture interventions and a neighborhood homebuyers club that has helped more than 150 families become homeowners and invest in generational wealth. Anna-Jane’s work is grounded in the belief that parks and green infrastructure can be powerful tools for justice when paired with intentional community investment. Since relocating to Los Angeles, she has brought this same ethos to the LA River State Park Partners, where she is advancing strategic partnerships and launching an ambitious fundraising campaign to support parks and communities along the LA River. Outside of work, Anna-Jane is an urban enthusiast and transit advocate. Whether walking every street in Washington, DC or championing mutual aid in LA, she is constantly looking for ways to connect people with place and one another. |
